Cheryl is widely known as the longtime owner and operator of Skate & Shake, which she successfully ran for 26 years. The facility was a beloved roller skating and childcare center, and home to the only local hockey rink in Ormond Beach. It became a cornerstone of the community where generations of families created lasting memories.

Today, Cheryl works alongside her husband, Kevin Gray, who dedicated 37 years to the City of Ormond Beach as Director of Public Works and Stormwater. Together, they also own a local speakeasy bar in beachside Ormond Beach, further strengthening their ties to the community.
As a lifelong resident of Volusia County, Cheryl knows the area inside and out. She is a proud mother of five and grandmother to nine, and remains extremely active in the community she loves.
